SUSHI & DURIAN : ENGAGEMENT

Dear readers,

Yes, the reason i put the first picture is not more than i wanna informed that, im someone fiancee!! wohooo! meeting someone unexpected at the unexpected place and time bring us here. That is my other mother or can be called as my new mother, pretty slim and looks healthy huh. I called her okasan as she is a Japanese. well who can imagined that Tikachan is getting engaged with a japs guy? 

  

When you meet someone, that person opens up a whole new world to you. Love is a funny thing. Time is even funnier. 

I remember when I first saw Tasuku at the hostel of Mulu rainforest and he was really skinny, bald, really looks and accessorised  like a monk and do yoga every morning next to his bed. I thought that he was from Thailand. Puff no interest at all until he started to joined the conversation between my friends and i in the hostel living room, i made him Vico in a mug then we started to smile to each other, well there's the start right. 

The stories continue when we met again in Mulu airport the next morning and all of us are heading to Miri, he want to find the red durian in Miri and my friends and i want to find the ulat sagon (white maggot) to eat so he joined us for the journey but unluckily we cannot find both so we plan to meet in KL and bring him to find the durian. 

i went to my university law class then my friend text me to direct see him at the hotel that he stayed, they will come later and meet me there. After class directly went to he hotel in brickfields, it seems like a dark area hotel and this is my first time here. when i ask the hotel people, he was out, so i hang out at the stall in front of the hotel eating Mee goreng. suddenly i saw him walking slowly bring some books, he saw me and shows his surprised face. he joined me and we start talking. he suddenly asked me one question,

What is the type of guy that you like?

WHY DID YOU ASK THAT?

Just want to know about it.

I LIKE A GUY WHO IS WORKING AND 

BRAVE ENOUGH TO MEET MY PARENTS 

AND THEY LIKE HIM.

i never expect anything by saying that but it actually sparks this relationship. our stories start with just friends, he goes back to Japan and one month later he comes back to Malaysia and he text me. he come to my workplace, i want to find him a hotel in JB but he insist to follow me back to Kota Tinggi and meet my family. i dont have any idea what is happening so i just bring him to my house after inform to my mom. He met my mother and brother for the first time and directly said he wants

TO GET MARRIED WITH ME!

The love, hate and cries stories continue until he comes to Malaysia every skip a month for 4 times in less than a year. we faced the hurtful, laughter, families problem, fights and love. All i want you guys to know that this love is not easy seriously not easy when you want to close two families from different background from different status and culture into one. with the help of our one and only Allah S.W.T we are here being engaged.

we met in 6th April and on 3rd December at Bora Ombak Marina Putrajaya amazing beautiful hall we are being engaged with the witness of close families. its a small and cozy celebration with full of magical touch by the owner of Bora Ombak Marina Putrajaya which is my own uncle and aunty. it is definitely a nice memory to be kept.

 

The funny thing about this party is when i take my first love since i was 11 years old to be my MUA. he is now working as a big star and drama or movie actress makeup artist. during our makeup session we talk about the past when both of us still kids. and finally i told him about the old love feelings to him when i was little and both of us laugh about the stupid stories of secret admiring. How i am a lucky girl to be standing between my fiancé and old first love. 

The ring that okasan choose for me. she told that it symbolise the wave. it even being carved with the ' SUSHI & DURIAN ' inside. why sushi & durian well its us, i comes from Malaysia so mine is Durian because its the proud thing of a Malaysian while his is Sushi because he comes from Japan.

This are the hantaran things that i get from the guy side. He reply me 5 dulang hantaran and i give him 7 dulang hantaran. He gave me :

• chocolate dates
