TIKA & STOVE : STICKY CHINESE 5 SPICES CHICKEN

Looks really yummy right, This recipe also inspired by marions kitchen recipes. nowadays i really addict with cooking and try new recipes. especially when there is always a person that can enjoy and comments about the food at home. right husband?

supposedly the final outcome will be more sticky and gewyy but mine is not like that. a lil bit dry version. i also changed a bit from what she done to suit my taste. 




Lets start!!!


Ingredients :

MARINATES
  • 7 chicken parts basically the thigh and chest with the skin!
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce ( i used ABC sweet sauce )
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp chine 5 spices 
- marinates for one whole night or min 3 hours -














DRESSINGS
  • sesame seed
  • spring onion ( if got )
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce ( i used ABC sweet sauce )
  • sesame oil



How to make :

  1. Take out the marinate chicken from the fridge and prepare to be bake in the oven
  2. set 250C and 30 min then bake the chicken ( depends on your own oven because different oven different time and temp )
  3. after you can smell the aroma of the chick and look nicely cook, take it out for a while and let cool outside.
  4. mix the honey and dark soy sauce in another bowl until homogenous then brush it on top of the chicken especially the skin!!
  5. then put again in the oven for another 5 min.
  6. Take it out cut to small pieces as what you want then serve with hot steam rice and salad.
  7. sprinkle the spring onion, sesame seed and sesame oil on top of the chicken. 
  8. DONE!!


its really satisfy meal to eat. sweet, warm and the most important is yummzzz!!!
