Dear readers,
Hello again, for today lets cook cook cook! i'm gonna share my most favour recipe that being highly requested by most of my families and friends. *drum roll please**** its being known as Tikachan Shepherd Pie! Im used to make this before as my signature menu for my bakery business and its sold like hot cakes! well thats before now I'm just making it when there are request from my loved one. Its a bit messy project but definitely taste yummy so its not a waste to try right. getting excited here, Lets start!
for the mashed potato :
- 1 small box of full cream milk ( dutch lady full cream milk )
- 1 kg potato
- half butter
- white pepper ( ajinamoto brand )
firstly, boiled the small cut potato, then boiled it until smooth. after that take out the potato from the water and put it in a basin thus squash it until looks like a baby food. Add the full cream milk and butter quickly into it. then when everything looks nice add the pepper until you're satisfied. Tadaaa! part one is done.
for the beef :
- 3 pack (250g) minced beef / chicken
- carrot
- 2 onion
- 1 garlic
- 1 cube beef/chicken stock
- 1 pack chilli sauce
- 1 pack tomato sauce
- 2 spoon olive oil
- rosemary
firstly heat the pan and add the olive oil then put in the cube cut onion, carrot and garlic. when all of it seems to caramelised then add the beef. stir it until deeply cook then add the cube stock in and proceed with more and more stirring. put half packet of the chilli sauce and also the tomato sauce. mix at all up then put one pinch of rosemary inside. taste it until it reach your limit of yummyness.
for the finishing :
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp of yellow sunshine food colouring
- coriander
- white pepper
- cheddar cheese
heat the oven until 250c, put the beef gravy into the aluminium foil then add the mashed potato on top. layer it down until smooth. break the egg into a bowl and mixed with the food colouring then brush it onto the mashed potato for more gold brown finish. finally sprinkled a lot of cheese and chopped coriander thus head up into the oven.
observe it until golden brown around 30 min then walaaa!!! dont forget to sprinkle a bit of the white pepper for taste more emphhh taste.
your golden brown shepherd pie is ready to fill your tummy. go on and try it.
